Tuesday, April 28th is National Blueberry Pie Day. But everyday is a great one to celebrate this All-American dessert made with one of the most wholesome fruits around. Why not take some time to perfect your pie-making skills. With Reynolds' top tips below, you're on your way to creating an awesome pie.

REYNOLDS' TOP TIPS

1. When adding water to your crust recipe, use ice cold water.

2. Roll out dough on parchment paper for less stick and mess.

3. After it's been rolled out, refrigerate dough before filling to prevent it from cracking in the oven.

4. Keep it rustic by laying the dough flat and folding over the edges. It creates a delicious slab-pie.

5. Brush egg on the final crust for a shiny finish.

These tips are also perfect when making other types of fruit pies and tarts so keep them handy and happy baking!
