In the spirit of the Dior brand make-over to get past John Galliano, the company creative director Raf Simons has taken an arty turn styling the Spring 2013 ads.

First, the pictures reference the September show with white washed walls and flower bunches. Second, the odd sizing, painterly clouds, and reoccurring lamp fixture demonstrate a Surrealist influence, which, like the collection itself, is a far cry from past dramatic Galliano campaigns.

Finally, these ads swap mega-models, like Karlie Kloss, Kate Moss, and Gisele Bündchen, for five less well-known faces, including Daria Strokous, Anna Martynova, Diane Conterato, Nicole Pollard, and Marie Piovesan.

All five ads, shot by Willy Vanderperre, are showcased below.
