"Black Nativity," Langston Hughes' retelling of the classic Nativity story with a black cast, featuring traditional Christmas carols and original music in gospel style. Ritual, African dance and storytelling infuse the staging to depict the story of Mary and the birth of Jesus. Produced in association with Denman Entertainment Group and Obediah Productions.
