For the month of April, performers can submit their song or monologue videos on Stagelighter.com to a panel of six Broadway casting directors for free. Panelists will nominate videos into a final round which will be posted on Stagelighter's Facebook page and one performer chosen by the public will win round trip airfare to New York City, private meetings with each of the six casting directors, tickets to a Broadway show plus a backstage tour. Panelists include Duncan Stewart (Pippin), Karyn Casl (Glengarry Glen Ross), Stephen Kopel (Once), Gayle Seay (Tour: Nice Work If You Can Get It), Adam Caldwell (Cinderella) and Michael Cassara (Forbidden Broadway).

Stagelighter.com is a new online resource which lets actors get personal feedback and advice from leading Broadway professionals. Stagelighter coaches include Victoria Clark, Rebecca Luker, Michael McElroy, Shoshana Bean, Christiane Noll, Kyle Dean Massey, Telly Leung, top Broadway casting directors, agents and more. High school performing arts students can connect with faculty (Kaitlin Hopkins, Texas State University; Aubrey Berg, CCM) from the nation's top college theatre programs.

To use Stagelighter, performers upload a song or monologue video and choose a coach who provides personal video and written feedback within two weeks. Working with Stagelighter coaches starts at $29 and there are no membership fees.

Stagelighter coach Ted Sperling who won a Tony and Drama Desk Award for the orchestrations of The Light in the Piazza in 2005: "It's something you do naturally as a music director and director - I've seen literally thousands of auditions over the years and I very much enjoy helping people discover new aspects of approaching their material."

Stagelighter coach Tiffany Little Canfield, casting director of the upcoming feature film Into the Woods: "I remember being a drama student in California and the idea of being in a region studying and having access to the NY industry would have been very, very appealing to me"
