Sasheer is an actress, writer, improviser and stand-up comedian. She joined the cast of SNL during its 39th season and made a splash with memorable impressions of Solange Knowles and Michelle Obama. Most recently, Sasheer created the critically acclaimed webseries Pursuit of Sexiness.

Her work has been featured in publications including Jezebel, Hairpin, Vulture, Think Progress, Clutch Magazine, Time Out New York and The New York Times. Sasheer has done stand-up at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Great American Comedy Festival, as well as on the Comedy Central's Comics to Watch Showcase. She has opened for fellow comedian John Mulaney and for the Bonnaroo 365 tour.

Sasheer has performed in online videos for Jest and College Humor that have been featured on the Today Show and Jezebel. She also writes and performs in a webseries for The Cooking Channel, called Fodder. In addition, Sasheer appears in sketches on Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on FX and Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central.
