Performance Anxiety Chicago has announced the next installment of its free, BYOB monthly comedy series at The Pleasure Chest (3436 N. Lincoln, 60657) on Sept. 15 featuring headliner Dan Friesen. Friesen is a unique comedian with a rich voice made for radio and a beard made for the stage. He's the host of the Friesen Point podcast, where he discusses topics like conspiracy theories and comedy. Mostly conspiracy theories.

The show will also feature a rare duo act from Stephanie Hasz (Parlour Car) and Andy Fleming (Two Hour Comedy Hour). The two hosts of Comedy Secrets, Chicago's only tragic comedy show, are normally solo acts. However, they band together every September for a festival of their own making to celebrate their friendship - it's LollaPALooza time!

Along with its sister shows in Los Angeles and New York (coming soon!), Performance Anxiety Chicago is a sex-positive, LGBTQ friendly comedy show hosted in the city's finest adult boutique.

In addition to Friesen, Hasz, and Fleming, Kevin Brody (Arguments and Grievances) hosts:

Kristin Clifford (The Lincoln Lodge)

Nigel Ng (Laugh Factory)

Rebecca Fass (Tuxedo Cat Comedy)

Sammy K Obeid (visiting from LA)

Performance Anxiety Chicago is helmed by Chicago comedians Kristin Clifford (Lincoln Lodge, TBS Just For Laughs) and Kevin Brody (Arguments and Grievances). Audience members receive 15% off anything in the store the night of the show.
