Peregrine Theatre Ensemble's THE FULL MONTY Will Open July 18

Peregrine Theatre Ensemble begins performances of their summer musical The Full Monty with two special "BEAR WEEK" preview's on July 15th and 16th followed by their OPENING NIGHT on July 18th with an optional pre-performance reception.

Special "BEAR WEEK" preview performances of The Full Monty on July 15th and 16th at 7:30pm. Peregrine Theatre Ensemble doesn't officially open Monty until July 18th but we could not pass up an opportunity to put on a show for a community that has supported us throughout the years! All are welcome!

On July 18th, celebrate Peregrine Theatre Ensemble and this seasons musical The Full Monty with a pre-show reception from 6-7pm at the Provincetown Theater followed by the opening night performance at 7:30pm! Join the designers, producers, a few cast members as well as "Peregrine Patrons" in toasting to the start of the most anticipated musical of the

Also announcing something brand new for Peregrine this summer! A limited number of VIP Table Seats will be offered for all performances of The Full Monty! Sit stage-side, be a part of the action and feel like you are totally immersed in our own little 'chippendales' venue. One table seats up to a party of 4 and each ticket includes one premium cocktail of your choice.

Based on the cult-hit film of the same name, The Full Monty a 10-time Tony Award nominee, is a musical filled with honest affection, engaging melodies, raucous humor and the most highly anticipated closing number of any show. The powerhouse team of Terrence McNally (Ragtime) and David Yazbek (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) cook up an aggressive crowd pleaser that both entertains and grabs your heart.

While spying on their wives at a 'Girls' Night Out,' a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo see how much their sweethearts enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work, and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness, and prejudices, the men come to discover they're stronger as a group, and the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go."

The Full Monty is a story full of heart. With a raucous mix of razor-sharp humor and toe- tapping pizzazz, this heartwarming upbeat comedy will be the must-see hit of the summer season!
