FOIA LOVE: A COMEDY SHOW ABOUT PUBLIC RECORDS is a new monthly comedy show! There will be sketches. There will be improv. There will be things that do not fit into categories. The Freedom of Information Act ensures any citizen has the right to information about the government. FOIA LOVE: A COMEDY SHOW ABOUT PUBLIC RECORDS ensures you can then laugh at that information.

This month's inaugual edition of the show will focus on Athletes, from baseball players in court to football coaches with FBI profiles to Olympians who will do anything to win.

Written and Directed by Curtis Raye (Brick Penguin, Fantastic Gary), who spent 8 years in Washington DC, and one year in rural Iowa working for the Hillary campaign, observing the inherent comedy in public records. Private moments between the federal government and us are actually readily available to anyone. School board meetings, court testimony, and even White House menus are treasure troves of human folly, and this show puts all that folly in one place.

Joining Raye is an elite line-up of performers including Brian Faas (MTV's Best Week Ever), Dan Hodapp (CollegeHumor), Karin Hammerberg (Mythical Newsroom), and Frank Hejl (Onassis) who all perform regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

FOIA LOVE: A COMEDY SHOW ABOUT PUBLIC RECORDS will be November 6th, 2013, at 7:30 PM at The Tank Theater, located at 151 W. 46th Street, 8th Floor.
