"Heroes Reborn" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) increased by +19% vs. last year's premiere in the slot (1.9 vs. 1.6 for "Biggest Loser" from 8-10 on Sept. 11, 2014).

The last time NBC topped the 1.9 rating of "Heroes Reborn" in 18-49 on a Thursday from 8-10 p.m. with all regularly scheduled programming was three-and-a-half years ago on March 15, 2012 ( "Community," season premiere; "30 Rock"; "Office"; and "Up All Night"; 2.0).

With a 2.1 rating among men 18-49, is NBC's top drama debut in that demo without a "Voice" lead-in in more than four years (since "The Cape" on Jan. 9, 2011, 2.8).

"The Player" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Earned NBC's highest in-season 18-49 rating in the time period since the "Parenthood" finale (1.7 on Jan. 29).

Is up +9% vs. NBC's prior drama debut in the slot in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.1 for "Allegiance," Feb. 5, 2015), despite last night's stiff time-period competition from CBS's NFL football and ABC's season premiere of "How to Get Away with Murder."

Topped NBC's slot averages from last season by +20% in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.0, L+SD non-sports) and +17% in total viewers (4.856 million vs. 4.138 million).

Jimmy Fallon has won last night's late-night ratings race in the metered markets despite major lead-in boosts for the competition, with primetime NFL football lifting CBS and Thursday drama premieres boosting ABC.

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/8, delayed by an NFL overrun; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.5/7.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.7/5, delayed by an NFL overrun; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.9/5.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/5, delayed by an NFL overrun). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/3, delayed by an NFL overrun).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
