NBC Ratings: DATELINE Continues to Climb

Friday Primetime Ratings:

"Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 1.4 in adults 25-54, 4.8 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):

Grows +25% week to week in adults 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.8), +27% in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.1) and +14% in total viewers (4.831 million vs. 4.226 million).

Equals the show's highest rating since Sept. 9 in 18-49 and 25-54 and delivers its most-watched edition since that same date.

In the two-hour time period, ties for #2 among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and ranks #2 outright among those nets in total viewers.

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., finishes #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-49: adults, men and women 25-54; and total viewers, ahead of ABC's "20/20."

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - The prior Friday's "Dateline NBC" increased by +29% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.79 to a 1.02) and 912,000 viewers overall (4.2 million to 5.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

Upscale: "Dateline" is generating a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 113 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.

"Caught on Camera With Nick Cannon" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):

Maintains 100% of its final original telecast of last season (0.6 vs. 0.6 on May 27) and 99% in total viewers(3.117 million vs. 3.149 million).

Retains 100% of its rating from its first half-hour to its second in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2, with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
