Described as a "supremely enjoyable monologist," by The New York Times, Mike Birbiglia will bring his "Thank God For Jokes" routine to the Fox Theater stage on Saturday, March 1 for one show at 8 p.m.

Tickets are currently available and can be purchased in advance for $30, $40 and $50. The show is for mature audiences only.

Tickets are available online at www.comixatfoxwoods.com; by calling the Foxwoods Box Office at 800-200-2882; or in person at the Comix, Fox Theater or Foxwoods Theater Box Offices. Please contact the Comix Comedy Club at 860-312-5050 for additional information or with questions regarding group sales or private parties.

Recognized as a "master of the personal, embarrassing tale" by Time Magazine, Birbiglia returns to the stage with more painfully awkward stories in a show about jokes and how they can get you in trouble. Join him as he visits Cats-a-chusetts, argues with a stranger about her nut allergy, hosts an awards show for angry celebrities and learns that Fozzie Bear is a tough act to follow.

Birbiglia's recent off-Broadway hit, My Girlfriend's Boyfriend, won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show and was named a Critics Pick by The New York Times, New York Magazine and Time Out New York. In 2012, he directed and starred in the feature film adaptation of his one-man show Sleepwalk With Me, which won an audience award at the Sundance Film Festival and was distributed nationwide.

Birbiglia has made more than 40 network television appearances, including time with Letterman, Kimmel, Conan, Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Fallon. He is a regular contributor to the Peabody Award winning radio show This American Life, while My Secret Public Journal Live - one of his four albums - was named one of "The Best Comedy Albums of the Decade" by both The Onion and USA Today. Currently Birbiglia is touring the country with his all-new show and planning his follow-up feature film.
