Comedy fans will want to visit global charity auction site Charitybuzz, now through Oct. 2nd to bid on having a comedian call to tell them a joke on National "Tell a Joke for Parkinson's Day."

National "Tell a Joke for Parkinson's Day" has been declared for Oct. 23rd by Shaking With Laughter. Apparently Congress doesn't declare days anymore so we just did it ourselves. Shaking With Laughter was founded by former Seinfeld writer Marc Jaffe and his wife Karen after she was diagnosed with Parkinson's. The charity is dedicated to raising money for Parkinson's research through events that have an element of humor. The auction is running in conjunction with a concert featuring legendary jazz guitarists John and Bucky Pizzarelli and comedian Wendy Liebman at Playhouse Square in Cleveland on Sat. Sept. 21st. For tickets visit here.

Among the comedians participating are:

Kevin Nealon, Paul Reiser, Bob Saget, Larry David, Peter Farrelly, Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter & David Wain, Kathleen Madigan, Jason Alexander, Michael Richards, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Dennis Miller, Dave Coulier, Pete Holmes, Brad Garrett, Penn & Teller, and Peter Farrelly.

All of the above are helping the more than 1 million people in the U.S. that have Parkinson's Disease. There are other fun comedy items to bid on in the same auction, like lunch with the director of The Big Bang Theory and a meeting Michael J. Fox while spending a day on the set of his new show.

To bid on any of the comedians or other items, go to www.charitybuzz.com/shakingwithlaughter, register, bid and win. Then wait for your phone to ring with the funniest phone call of the year.
