ImprovBoston's sketch comedy darlings, The Dowry, are presenting a warm-weather-inspired sketch comedy. Their latest show, (500) Days 'til Summer, runs Fridays in March and April at 10 p.m. (The show will be dark on Friday March 23.) Tickets cost $12-$16. The show will run at ImprovBoston, 40 Prospect Street, Cambridge. Tickets cost $12-$16 and are available online at www.improvboston.com.

(500) Days 'til Summer is an immersive theater experience with two completely different scripts that switch halfway through the run. The "Turf" show plays through March and explores the long days of summer through the perspective of hapless doctors at a Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D) conference. The "Surf" show in April takes the audience on the water with a sketch comedy show all about vacation on the high seas. (500) Days 'til Summer will leave audiences feeling more hopeful for the days ahead.

The Dowry cast includes: Paul Barner, Brian Goddard, Hannah Foell, Natalie Baseman, Laura Clark, and Jackie Arko. Conceived by comedy fans in Boston, The Dowry has been providing pithy, hilarious, and straight-up fun sketch comedy since 2007. The Dowry's collaborative writing style lends itself to deliberate yet silly performances. This six person ImprovBoston house team has been featured in the Philly Sketch Fest, Women in Comedy Festival, and they were finalists in Boston Comedy Festival 2010's Sketch Competition. The Dowry wrote and performed the full-length musical sketch comedy show Love, Seasonally to sold-out crowds at ImprovBoston in 2010.

"(500) Day's 'til Summer is a sketch comedy showcase on caliber with the famous reviews coming out of Chicago's Second City. We're taking all the best parts of summer and delivering them a few months early," said Dowry cast member Natalie Baseman. "Even if winter decides to step up its game in March, you'll be able to come into ImprovBoston and escape to summer with this hilarious and fun show. Plus there will be ice cream, and who doesn't love ice cream?"

"I'm excited to see the newest sketch revue from The Dowry," explains ImprovBoston Managing Director Zach Ward. "In the short time I've been at ImprovBoston, The Dowry has worked tirelessly as a company cast to raise the bar for sketch comedy at the Theater and across Boston."
