New Jersey Governor Chris Christie tweeted on Wednesday that he is not going to miss the fat jokes David Letterman makes about him when Letterman steps down in 2015. Christie's full tweet read, "Oh @letterman, I'm really gonna miss your fat jokes. Wait, no I'm not. #ColbertNation."

This tweet is in response to a joke Letterman made after the Father's Day/Mother's Day Council announced on Monday that Christie would be awarded the nonprofit's annual "Father of the Year" award in June. After this announcement, Letterman made fun of Christie's award on the "Late Show" by showing a fake newcast in which the narrator says, "the word Father contains the word 'fat,' and Governor Christie is fat."
