Comedian Don Barnhart Begins Production on Vegas-Based Sitcom CLASS CLOWNS

Class Clowns is the new sitcom from comedian Don Barnhart currently shooting in and around Las Vegas.

The show follows the misadventures of fictional comedian and former sitcom star Johnny B who starred in his own "Full House" pulls a "Kramer" takes a "Chappell" and comes back to star in his own "Seinfeld" type of web series/reality show.

Created by Barnhart and co-written by Don and comedian Keith Lyle from The Hangover. The show stars the duo along with actress, model and comedian Linda Vu. The show also features Vegas based comedians Derek Richards from The Irish Comedy Tour and Brent Mukai.

Barnhart's character is based on a hybrid of comedians he's known, worked with and heard about over the years. Written by Don and comedian Keith Lyle from The Hangover. The show stars the duo along with actress, model and comedian Linda Vu. The three of them will be heading overseas to entertain the troops next month for Battle Comics after filming the first few episodes of Class Clowns.

The show also features Vegas based comedians Derek Richards from The Irish Comedy Tour who recently went overseas with Barnhart for Armed Forces Entertainment and the Battle Comics tour for the troops along with comedian and improviser Brent Mukai.

"We're so fortunate to have such great talent based here, there's no need to be in LA or New York anymore", said Barnhart during a recent interview.

Barnhart is a regular headliner on the VEGAS STRIP appearing at the top comedy clubs. The Las Vegas Review/Journal recently called Barnhart's show one of their "Best Bets" and last year he received the "Best of Vegas" award from Las Vegas Best Business. The show has already begun production and has plans to use more Vegas based talent including celebrity cameos.

Barnhart also stars in Finding The Funny with Brad Garrett and LOUIE Anderson and is the host and creator of The Freedom of Speech Comedy Series. Don also appears in Tribute To Fluffy, Max Justice and is the author of the best-selling book on comedy Finding Your Funny. He was recently featured on the best of The Bob and Tom Show, he is also a regular on Sirius/XM and is one of the first comedians to graduate from The Second City Training Center in Los Angeles
