TVGuide.com reports that Charlie Sheen is in talks with the CBS network to make a guest starring appearance in the series finale of TWO AND A HALF MEN.

Said the 'Anger Management' star, "I've reached out to them and they've reached back. We're trying to figure out what makes the most sense. If they FIGURE IT OUT like I've presented it to them and they want to include me in some final send-off, I'm available and I'm showing up early. If not, it's on them."

The actor went on to reveal that he believes the return of his character Charlie Harper, would be a "good will and a tip of the hat to the fans," adding, "On the record, I would love to [return]."

Fans of the series may recall that Sheen made an ugly exit from the hit comedy in 2011 after some very-public battles with executive producer Chuck Lorre. He went on to a bizarre spree of appearances which included his now infamous phrases "winning" and "tiger blood."

When the show returned for the following season, 'Men' writers decided to kill Sheen's character off to make room for a new roommate played by Ashton Kutcher.

Asked if he has since rekindled his relationship with Lorre, Sheen replied, "Ethereally we have, personally we have not. But I'm easy to grab. He was doing his job, I was doing mine. At the end of the day, the guy's a genius. Look at what he does. I don't have to spend time with him anymore for him to be brilliant. I wish him nothing but the best."

At this summer's Television Critics Association press tour, CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler revealed that they had no plans to have Sheen or his character return for the farewell episode.
