White Plains Performing Arts Center presents Stand-Up Comedian BRIAN SCOTT MCFADDEN "Brutally Funny" with Special Guest TOM VAN HORN on Saturday, April 11 at 8:00 pm.

Often called "The Father of Modern Stand Up Comedy" Brian Scott McFadden is one of the most incredibly hilarious & frustratingly unappreciated actor/writer/comedians working today, a performer as remarkably gifted as he is inexplicably unacknowledged. After an undenyingly brilliant & insufficiently lauded performance on The Late Show with David Letterman, Brian followed with an equally spectacular & similarly overlooked appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS. He was most recently seen tearing up the big screen in Ben Stiller's all-star blockbuster "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" in a performance both stunning in its complexity & unfortunate in its brevity. Brian has also just released his new Comedy CD "What Women Want" which has been met with a deceptively small but optimistically moderate level of industry enthusiasm.

Tom Van Horn started performing stand-up back in 1993 after his girlfriend of nine years dumped him. Having a lot of anger and bitterness and nowhere to vent it, he went to an open mic and spewed his feelings about his life to a room full of strangers. And so another comic is born! Hey, it was cheaper than going to therapy.

Cut to today, Tom is now a regular in the NYC comedy club circuit. Other credits include writing for the Friars Roasts and US Weekly Magazine as well as appearances in numerous TV commercials.

BRIAN SCOTT MCFADDEN with Special Guest TOM VAN HORN will be on-stage on Saturday, April 11 at 8:00 pm at the White Plains Performing Arts Center located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains. 18+ Show. Tickets are $25.
