Australian comedian and mother of six, Jenny Wynter, is bringing her over-worked uterus to NYC for one night only, in her award-winning cabaret show, "An Unexpected Variety Show".

Wynter fuses stand-up, musical comedy, and improvisation, in a deeply personal show about life's unexpected twists and turns. From unplanned pregnancy, to childbirth, and having your wedding disrupted by an elderly gentleman wearing Speedo's...nothing is sacred!

Directed by Gary Austin, founder of legendary L.A Improvisation Group The Groundlings, Austin describes the show as "magic, compelling and entertaining...(it) implies what we all learn if we're paying attention; that our life plan is abandoned time and time again as the unexpected happens."

Wynter says she is "beyond excited" to finally bring the show to New York City and is keen to connect with mothers who need a girls' night out! "The beauty of parenthood is that even though I'm from the other side of the world, we all go through the same things...from sleep deprivation to having your kids asking you ridiculous questions you can't answer, like "who's my daddy?""

"I know very few people in NYC so I'm secretly hoping some awesome women come along and we can hang out afterwards and drink cocktails while comparing stretchmarks."

One show only!

Friday October 28th, 7.30pm

Theatre Row: 410 West 42nd Street, New York City

"Don't see Jenny Wynter's show without a packet of tissues and three coats of waterproof mascara - I laughed and cried (often simultaneously), at this fabulous fusion of wit, musical talent, great physical comedy and poignant storytelling. Jenny is a hugely likeable talent whose take on motherhood is as funny as you could wish for and more thought provoking than you'd expect."
