Applications for The 4th Annual Women in Comedy Festival are now open to all comedians (men and women) in the realms of stand-up, improv, storytelling, musical comedy and workshops . In past years the festival has hosted a total of nearly 500 artists from all over the US, including Rachel Dratch, Maria Bamford, Kristin Schaal, Edie McClurg, Jen Kirkman, Jackie Kashian, Morgan Murphy, and many more.

The 4th Annual Women In Comedy Festival is scheduled to take place March 21-25, 2012, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Show application deadlines and fees:
Regular: Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 ($30 submission fee)
Extended: Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 ($40 submission fee)
Instructor application deadlines and fees:
Regular: Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 ($10 submission fee)
Extended: Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 ($15 submission fee)

About WICF: The Women In Comedy Festival's mission is to create a forum for people to experience the comedic expression of women, see strong female performers while being inclusive to male performers, and, most importantly, to entertain. To further their mission, WICF also sponsors workshops on different comedy styles and topics and a free panel discussions open to the public. The festival is co-produced by Michelle Barbera, Maria Ciampa, Elyse Schuerman, and Hillary Buckholtz.
