AMERICAN CANDY rings in the new year with a show that lovingly celebrates the "freaky" side of American culture including self-help gurus, airline craziness, clueless rock stars, deviant children and prescription drug addicts.

AMERICAN CANDY has become one New York City's most popular sketch groups, with sold out performances and a very loyal fan base. "Freak Nation" brings back some popular sketches from past shows plus lots of brand new work that is sure to be classic.

AMERICAN CANDY has built a successful series by defying the stereotype that all comedy is the provenance of young white men.
