ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, the celebrated Beatles' live concert experience, returns to Sydney to help bring in the New Year with shows at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on 1, 2 and 3 January 2017.
ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE celebrates the songs The Beatles' captivated a generation with - songs that continue to inspire music fans across the world. This will be the 3rd straight New Year season that ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE has taken over the Sydney Opera House and follows sell out shows and standing ovations in 2015 and 2016. A selection of The Beatles' great songs including I am The Walrus, Eleanor Rigby, Yesterday, A Day in the Life, Across The Universe, Let It Be, Hey Jude and many more brilliantly performed live byJack Jones, Ciaran Gribbin, Rai Thistlethwayte and Jackson Thomas. Accompanying them will be the 40-piece, super charged rock band, with the addition of the hand-picked Strawberry Fields Rock Orchestra, led by Musical Director Paul Gray, conducted by Nicholas Buc, with vocal direction by Lindsay Field. On 17 August 1966, The Beatles played their final show in Toronto, Canada, and 50 years on they are still revered by fans and their peers alike.
