Since then, they've preformed together in Mexico City, Moscow, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China, as well as around the United States. They've performed together at White House dinners for two presidents.

Considered a virtuoso of the violin, Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician. Since then, he has appeared with every major orchestra and in recitals and festivals around the world.

His achievement over the years are numerous, and include winning the prestigious Leventritt Competition in 1964, a Medal of Liberty in 1986, a National Medal of Arts in 2000, a Kennedy Center Honor in 2003, four Emmy Awards® and a Grammy® Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 (in addition to his 15 Grammy Awards®). One of Perlman's proudest achievements is his collaboration with film score composer John Williams in Steven Spielberg's Academy Award®-winning film Schindler's List, in which he performed the violin solos.

De Silva, a native of Sri Lanka, has performed a number of highly acclaimed performances around the world with renowned violinists. He has taught at The Juilliard School and Ishikawa Music Academy in Japan, as well as been a member of the faculty of the Perlman Music Program. His recognitions include Best Accompanist at the 1990 Ninth International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and the Samuel Sanders Collaborative Artist Award in 200.
