On Thursday, August 13, Time for Three will perform with the Utah Symphony at Red Butte Garden. Under the baton of conductor Jerry Steichen, the trio will perform a variety of pieces spanning from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" to pop favorites by Justin Timberlake, Mumford & Sons, and Katy Perry. Tickets start at $34 and can be purchased by visiting www.ticketfly.com/event/774435-time-for-three-utah-symphony-salt-lake-city/.

Time for Three, or Tf3 for short, has performed from Carnegie Hall and the famed jazz club Yoshi's in San Francisco to European festivals, NFL games and the Indy 500. The group's YouTube anti-bullying video, "Stronger," has inspired students across the globe, eliciting features on CNN and the Huffington Post.

Tf3 has been seen and heard via various TV and radio broadcasts throughout the country, including numerous times on Public Television, NPR and CNN. The trio was featured in a documentary film about Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square directed by Robert Downey Sr., and recorded the soundtrack to the History Channel's "The Spanish-American War." Even with an ever-increasing performance and media schedule, Tf3 remains committed to reaching younger audiences by participating in educational residencies and outreach concerts, including annual visits to Paul Newman's Hole In The Wall Gang Camp for children with terminal illnesses; weeklong residencies at the Kennedy Center; Carnegie Hall's series of Family Concerts; and countless jam sessions and impromptu music-making with students, from university classes to coffee houses.

Jerry Steichen has led the Utah Symphony as Principal Pops Conductor since the 2009-10 Season. Prior to becoming Principal Pops Conductor, Mr. Steichen frequently appeared with Utah Symphony and Utah Opera, and has conducted at the Deer Valley Music Festival every year since the festival's inception in 2004.

The collaboration with Red Butte Garden will be the first of several community arts collaborations with Ballet West, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Utah Opera, The Madeleine Choir School and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir as part of the Utah Symphony's 75th anniversary season, which officially launches in September 2015.
