Pianist Dejan Lazic has asked for a 2010 review by the Washington Post to be removed under the European Union "right to be forgotten" ruling. The review by critic Anne Midgette described his performace as "tepid" and "peppered" with citations on his achievements.

The 2010 review appears on the first page of his Google results, so he is requesting for it to be permanently removed from the internet.

Lazic says, "To wish for such an article to be removed from the internet has absolutely nothing to do with censorship or with closing down our access to information." Lazic believes he should have the right to control "the truth" of his own public image.
