The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) has announced that the WONDERS OF THE WURLITZER will return for two performances only in May. The concerts run from 2P to 3P and are FREE and open to the public. The concerts are supported by PPAC's Annual Fund.

Patrick Aiken will play the Mighty Wurlitzer on Wednesday, May 13.

Peter Krasinski will play the Wurlitzer and accompany a silent movie on Wednesday, May 20.

PPAC's Mighty Wurlitzer was built in 1927 and is one of only three ever made by Wurlitzer with five manual (keyboard) consoles.

Everyone is welcome to attend the WONDERS OF THE WURLITZER and enjoy local organists demonstrating the rich sounds of this rare and impressive instrument. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks to enjoy during the show; beverages will be provided.

For biographical information about the Wonders of the Wurlitzer performers, please contact Caitlyn DiPompo at cdipompo@ppacri.org or (401) 574-3112.
