Omaha Performing Arts presents Joyful Noise: A Gospel Christmas featuring Salem Baptist Church in the Kiewit Hall at the Holland Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 7, at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and are available at TicketOmaha.com, 402.345.0606 or at the Ticket Omaha Office inside the Holland Center, 1200 Douglas St. Tickets will be $20 the day of the performances.

Joyful Noise features the harmonious sounds of Omaha's nationally-recognized and Grammy®-nominated Salem Baptist Church choir, along with special guests Lecresia Campbell, Jonathan McReynolds, Daniel Martinez and Chad and Elaine Stoner. This upbeat Christmas celebration will feature a combination of blended classics and new music intertwined with drama and choreographed dance. It's a collaboration between Salem Baptist Church and Omaha Performing Arts that brings the best of the church's music program to be showcased in the renowned Holland Center.

Campbell is a gospel singer known for her hits "Perfect Praise (How Excellent)," "Stand Still" and "Magnify." She has been nominated for numerous Stellar Awards and she received a lifetime achievement award from Theresa Harriston and the Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conference. McReynolds is a 24-year-old vocalist and pianist whose 2012 debut album, "Life Music," peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. Martinez is a Flamenco guitarist who was born in Peru and now resides in Lincoln, Neb. He has recorded five albums and is a familiar presence on stages in the region. Chad Stoner is lead pastor at Stony Brook church. Chad and his wife, Elaine, are well known gospel and jazz artist in the Omaha metro.

Dr. Selwyn Q. Bachus, senior pastor of Salem Baptist Church said, "We're thankful to Omaha Performing Arts for this momentous partnership. This partnership provides a platform for continued arts education as well as the opportunity to expose even more residents to the state of the

art Holland facility." Minister of Music Ananias Montague added, "Salem is extremely excited that Omaha Performing Arts reached out to us. This partnership has allowed our community to have access to a wide variety of diverse fine arts educational events."

Joyful Noise: A Gospel Christmas featuring Salem Baptist Church will be at the Holland Center, 1200 Douglas St., on December 7 for two shows: 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Omaha Performing Arts has partnered with ConAgra Foods for ConAgra Foods' Shine the Light on Hunger program. Patrons are encouraged to bring canned food and other non-perishable items to when they attend a performance at the Holland Center or Orpheum Theater.
