ELLESMERE PORT, England

Author Yashoda Mann set out to write a heartwarming romance with her new novel, "Destiny: A Chance Encounter" (published by Trafford Publishing), which focuses on one woman giving love a second chance.

Set in London, the story focuses on Angelina, who has dedicated herself to her career after a failed relationship with a wealthy businessman. After many years of being single, she meets James, whom she tries to resist. She eventually gives in to his advances, and they spend a transformative weekend together. She's pleasantly surprised to find herself loving and being loved again.

Things complicate when another man, and Angelina's colleague, reveals his own feelings for her. After being rejected, he sets out to prevent Angelina's new romance from blossoming any further. As Angelina tries to maintain a working relationship with her colleague, her past returns to haunt her. Angelina must make decisions she never thought she would be making.

"I believe in love and all the excitement it generates along the way," Mann says. "I want to share this with the world."
