Author William H. Kuntz has spent over 30 years doing psychotherapy with individuals, couples and families. During this time, certain simple truths found in scripture and in loving relationships were more helpful to his patients than volumes of research on human behavior. He has compiled his reflections in the new book, "Soaring: Lessons on Faith, Hope, and Love Learned from the Psychologist's Chair" (published by WestBow Press).

"God's great sacrificial love for us gives us faith and hope, teaches us how to love, inspires us to overcome our greatest difficulties, and helps us to love the unlovable in our lives," Kuntz says. "We must continue to trust that he is always working behind the scenes to bring good out of bad, to heal all our hurts and relationships, and to teach us more about himself. God's goodness, love and majesty trump all the suffering in our world."

Kuntz explains that his book is relevant today because people are hurting and alone, looking for answers to common problems, and often not finding them. "Never give up. God has a plan. You are a major player in God's saga of love - where good ultimately triumphs over evil," he adds.
