In "To Hide from Death: Where do you go when death is lurking?" (published by AuthorHouse), author Theresa Moretimer's new novel; readers find themselves racing alongside Kelly as she tries to find out who wants her dead and why.

After a night of suspense, pain and frightening happenings - almost dying - Kelly Price files for a protective order. She hopes that this order will give her some breathing room and a safe place. But, sadly, her thinking is flawed. Someone wants her dead and no matter what she does, she never seems to be able to escape her new life - a life full of fear and danger.

At first she thought the attacker was her husband, Eric, but as she starts to connect the dots, she finds that it could be anyone. Imagination dances with reality as some of the situations Kelly finds herself in are taken straight from the author's life. Will Kelly find who is after her before it is too late?

An excerpt from "To Hide from Death":

"'I won't tell anyone Eric, I promise' she pleaded choking on her tears and shortness of breath. The pain was fiercE. Kelly managed to kick her way free of Eric, his fingers digging deep into her ankles as she retrieved them from his grasp. She made it back to the kitchen. She reached for the phone from the kitchen wall in desperate hopes of calling 911. As her trembling hands punched the numbers on the keypad, he ripped the phone cord from the wall. 'He's going to kill me and there's no one who can save me now' thought Kelly. 'God, please let me get out of here alive,' she silently prayed."
