Shirley Harder has spent much of her entire adult life studying and teaching the Gospel. She's published her uplifting take on scripture into a full-length book exploring God's covenants, dispensations and hopes for mankind.

"The Vine" is a complete exploration of God's overarching plan and purpose for the church. It follows a minor motif of the nature and husbandry of a grapevine and compares this growth with the continued evolution of the Christian church.

As a Sunday school teacher and an adult Bible study leader, Harder has always had a special connection to God. Many years prior, she completely dedicated herself to the study and interpretation of scripture. This time of reflection and isolation has led directly to the publication of "The Vine".

"I embarked in God's Ph.D. program," Harder said. "No professors, no schedule, no counselors, only God and me. This time of intense study and self-reflection led to a deeper and more complete understanding of God's will."
