EVANSTON, Ill., Dec. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ New revelations regarding a 2003 plea bargain, which included a claim of JonBenet having a fatal accident, essentially close the case and bring about a determinate finding that dispels other popularly held theories about her death. Police investigators chose not to verify and/or were unable to verify if the corroborated accident was fatal, leaving open the possibility that her death occurred during the staging of the crime, as believed by Psychotherapist and author Laurence L. Smith.
