Tedd Wallace marks his debut in the publishing world with the release of "My Boogie Board Ride to Denmark" (published by Balboa Press). This new book tells the remarkable true story of how the author was rescued from a near-death experience at the life of a tourist from Denmark. It is a stunning true testament of how courage and compassion transcends race and culture.

In March 2016, an otherwise ordinary day for Wallace in the U.S. Virgin Islands, took a deadly turn when he was swept away in a riptide. Relentlessly smashed against rocks and sucked below the surface, Wallace knew that he would be dead within minutes. He survived the harrowing ordeal when a St. Croix native dared to risk his life to rescue him out of the churning seas. In "My Boogie Board Ride to Denmark," details the life-changing experience and pays tribute to his rescuer as well as the other people who showed him kindness and compassion following the horrific tragedy.

"My Boogie Board Ride to Denmark" is a shining testament of courage under fire and how the world is built on compassion. Wallace hopes that his story will impart a message of hope and humanity to readers everywhere.
