SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - What prominent factors does one need to keep his edge on the rough-and-jagged landscape of American competition? In "The Success Factor" (published by Xlibris), recruitment expert and author Ted Bagley takes an advanced look at the rapidly-changing climate of workforce trends to reveal the success factors needed to thrive and prosper in the competitive world of corporate America.

As an executive responsible for recruiting and hiring some of the best minds available from universities across the nation, Bagley has observed a disturbing trend of senior workers leaving the workforce in significant numbers at a time when younger generations enter the stormy waters of corporate America. For him, such loss of intellectual capital without a plan to harness a portion of it poses a significant risk to the technical, medical, financial and legal superiority of the country. Knowing this, he shifts his objectives into helping every American stay competitive in the murky waters of corporate employment through tips that will help them approach issues at smart angles. "The Success Factor" provides concrete examples to help fast-track careers and cover areas of employment and career development. It discusses what skills are needed to keep the position and grow successfully within the context of the new environment. It also reveals the internal strategic and political skills needed to succeed.

"The Success Factor" is intended to increase the successful integration of new entrants into an ever-increasing, diverse and competitive work environment. It will not only deal with getting the job through proper etiquette, interviewing, and pre and post job acceptance but also the political view of keeping it in a highly competitive environment.
