Tambra Lynn McAfee Shares POETIC HEART

Tambra Lynn McAfee, a devoted writer and author, has completed her new book "Poetic Heart": a heartening and spiritual book of poems.

Tambra L McAfee was born in Houston Texas, Tambra Lynn Heatherly the 5th of June 1963. She would be the middle child of three, an older brother, Joseph and a younger brother Michael.

In junior high she went to Fairhaven Christian academy where she would meet her future husband, Matthew McAfee. Matthew went into the Air Force when Tami (which is the name she would always go by) went into high school. For her senior Year Tami went to Portage High School. After Graduation she worked in porter hospital in Valparaiso Indiana. Before Tami graduated from high school Matthew had taken a job working offshore on a production platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

When Matthew was laid off from his job offshore and going back into the Air Force Matthew and Tami decided to get married. They were stationed in New Jersey where they had their first son Adam. After a year they were heading to the Philippines for three years from 1983 to 1986, it was at this time that Tami wrote all her poems and she also had another son named Bryan. Matthew got a special duty assignment at Keesler AFB Mississippi. A couple of years after arriving in Mississippi Tami went to be with the Lord from complications of pneumonia.
