Talayah Stovall is an inspirational speaker and author who teaches others to follow their passions and to harness their own dreams to turn them into personal success. "Without a strong vision for your life, there is no possibility of your dreams becoming reality," says Stovall. An adjunct professor in public speaking at Columbia College in Chicago, Stovall carries her message to audiences around the country through multiple speaking engagements each year, inspiring others to follow their dreams and bring them to life through hard work and focus on goals.

Now, Ms. Stovall will host two signings for her latest book, "Lightbulb Moments: 75 Lessons for Everyday Living." These signings will be held at the Barnes and Noble book store on August 7 from noon till 1:30 p.m. at DePaul Center, Chicago, and on August 30 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble in Oakbrook, Illinois.

Talayah has been called "a breath of fresh air" who reaches people in all walks of life: the unemployed, those who are dissatisfied with their jobs, and those who want to achieve lifelong dreams. Talayah believes that no matter what a person's current situation, that person can find success in finances, relationships, careers, and even health by understanding his or her own unique talents, interests, and personality, including the way he or she thinks and processes information.

Her new book, "Lightbulb Moments," is written to help those who want to monetize their visions into a realistic and lifelong income source. While Ms. Stovall recognizes that not all dreams can immediately become self-supporting careers, she also notes that taking a business approach to making money from your passion can allow you to diversify and make your income stream much more secure. She also notes that gaining satisfaction from earning a living doing what a person loves is immensely satisfying.

Her early book, "Crossing the Threshold: Opening Your Door to Successful Relationships," deals with the roles people take in their romantic relationships, and was re-released by Next Century Publishing in mid-May. Ms. Stovall has also traveled nationally and internationally, speaking to groups at churches, schools, and affinity groups about beating the "naysayers" in life and taking "small steps toward fulfilling your purpose."
