Dr. Perryn Rice is a preacher who has been writing e-devotionals for several years. In looking at other devotionals, he noticed that there were certain books from the Bible that were never touched. Believing that an inspirational message can be found in all of the books in the Protestant Bible, Rice decided to publish a new daily devotional, titled "Sixty-six Devotions from Sixty-six Great Books."

This new book provides 66 inspirational and motivational Christian messages for daily living. Rice has tapped into all 66 books in the Bible and has highlighted a passage of scriptures from each book and used it as a base for each devotional written. The underlying theme that threads all daily devotionals is empowerment as delivered from God's Divine Word.

While there are countless of devotionals published and are in circulation, many of them do not have passages from less known books in the Bible, such as Leviticus, Obadiah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Philemon, Second Letter of John, and Third Letter of John. This new book offers scriptural passages, Christian principles, reflections, and inspirational messages from both famous and lesser known books.

With its practical and edgy style and challenges, "Sixty-six Devotions from Sixty-six Great Books" book helps uplifts the Christian spirit and create a positive mental attitude to combat depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and other struggles. Rice wants to assure readers that although times may be tough, things will always get better with God's Word and promise.
