Simon Freeman Releases F.I.F.O HELL

With various technological advancements in the world today, have people become complacent with the amount of access they have to basic needs such as food and shelter? If so, what could be the consequences if these privileges that individuals take for granted suddenly vanished?

How people could respond if they were denied these necessities is exactly what Simon Freeman addresses in his novel, "F.I.F.O Hell." In his book, he highlights this scenario through the eyes of a construction worker stranded in a desert with other employees as violence ensues.

Freeman, a concrete pump operator, has firsthand experience of how to respond when circumstances are less than ideal. He has lived and worked in various remote locations of Australia after a natural disaster and observed how individuals negatively reacted when food and other supplies were low.

"I have personally witnessed how people conducted themselves when all the comforts they have taken for granted have been stripped away," Freeman said. "That is when the true colors of their character come to the forefront."

By sharing his experiences in a fictionalized format, Freeman aims to teach readers how they should react when faced with unfavorable situations.

"Even when the odds are stacked against individuals, they still need to behave themselves in a manner that stimulates a positive mindset," Freeman said.
