The solar industry has been steadily expanding over the years according to techrepublic.com. Russell Alwyn offers an insider's glimpse into this booming enterprise in his recently released autobiography "Skhollar Under Ice Elect" (published by Xlibris AU).

Alwyn started his career as a simple labourer but after years of waiting for something better to come his way, he took the initiative to change his career into sales. He started small in telesales and soon moved to a couple of realty agencies and also as a leading man in the entrance of new businesses in the new age electronic market.

For five years, Alwyn has been involved in the sales of solar power equipment. This gave him opportunity to learn about this technology and the solar energy industry as a whole. In "Skhollar Under Ice Elect," the first time author intersperses insight into solar power and its growth in the Australian market with personal anecdotes and reflections on life, success and hard work.

"I want readers to see a good story in my book," Alwyn says, "It shows how I think things should and how I have thought they have always been. Hard work pays off and innovation is a great thing."
