Author Ruth Oluwatoyin makes a clarion call to readers to return to God and basic biblical principles by taking them along on her own detour-filled journey to heeding God's call.

Oluwatoyin's new book, "Heirs: Presentations on Bible with Highlights on Prophecies and their fulfillments" (published by WestBow Press), presents biblical facts in correlation with biblical prophecies and relates them to current events in the world. It seeks to awaken readers to what Oluwatoyin says is the impending danger of a fast approaching timeline of an event called "The day of the Lord." In her interpretation of the book of Daniel, she also noted other timelines for Messianic reign and the end of the world.

Oluwatoyin urges readers to look at Israel as God's chosen template for other nations. She says readers can draw lessons from looking at how Israel has fared in their relationship with God. She says that Israel is God's chosen nation of heirs, but that anyone who undertakes a Christian relationship will become joint heirs to the kingdom of God.

"All true worshippers of God will become his heirs," Oluwatoyin says, "and the book is a call to repentance and restoration of true worship."
