Barnesley, England

Author Ronnie C. crafts a thought-provoking vision of the future of humanity in his new science fiction novel, "Hope for the Future" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Set in the distant future, humans have finally learned how to use 90 percent of their brain power. Though war, famine and disease previously destroyed much of the population, death is no longer a worry. Humans exist as pure energy and do not need food, sleep or shelter.

Left with nothing to keep them on Earth, the human energies begin to branch out and explore other planets. On their journeys they meet new life forms, some friendly and some hostile. Above all they seek peace throughout the universe.

An excerpt from "Hope for the Future":

"Over time, because of war, famine, disease, and other things, our species has been greatly reduced. There are now only fifty million on this world we call Earth. There are no countries or borders; we are a global society. Because of our evolution, everything we do is by thought. We have no internal organs, so we do not fear death as we cannot be destroyed. We need none of the things that our ancestors did like food, water, weapons, and such."
