"Legacy, EPISODE II: The Unholy Menace" (published by Xlibris) is the second of a five-part science fiction novel series that highlights prevalent topics impacting the world today. The story was inspired by actual past events recounted over time by legendary accounts and personal experiences, including author Robert Maxxim's own past life recollections.

Thirty years in the making, this biography set in the future, follows mankind's previous sojourns through this and countless other worlds as experienced by the author. It exposes human intrigue and deceit, witnesses age-old lust for power, and describes bellicose space battles that destroyed countless jewels of life throughout the galaxy. The story eloquently portrays mankind's present challenges, misconceptions, secret restrictive organizations and what these can ultimately lead to, using past history as a guide.

"By mirroring events of today, "Legacy" exposes unknown truths that can help free humanity from today's gloomy grips spiraling man's lives into mental slavery, reach higher levels of peace and understanding, achieve spiritual elegance and virtuous wisdom, and finally attain a permanent selfless outlook-personal aspects that can turn this world's mundane nature about for the better," Maxxim says.
