ST. HELENA, Calif., Nov. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ Award-winning author Robert Cook today announced the availability of a "sneak peek" 55-page download of his next novel, Bairdston [click here], an absorbing storyline for young adults that interweaves action, Muslims, bullying, racism and soccer. Conceived with the knowledge that education fosters peace, the storyline delivers action and compelling characters that make the book difficult to put down and an ideal gift providing context for today's current events.

Relevant to one aspect of the content, a recent study released by the California Council on American-Islamic Relations found that more than half of the state's Muslim students have experienced bullying based on their religion. This is double the rate of their non-Muslim peers. This doesn't surprise author Cook who integrates this very issue in the storyline. "I wanted to tell a story that not only entertains young people, but enlightens them about the importance of cultural and religious tolerance. I have witnessed the power of education and how it can change hearts and minds, which is why I wrote this story of Muslim teens struggling to fit in at a Scottish boarding school."

The complimentary sneak peek at the recently released Bairdston provides a glimpse into important lessons in life as demonstrated by characters that young adults can identify with. The novel has been reviewed as an ideal gift from grandparents to sons, daughters, nieces and nephews and grandkids. Along the way, Bairdston may even help kick start a quest for knowledge where readers may initiate follow-up Google searches to learn a bit more about these useful topics.
