Robby Love Releases New Graphic Novel

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Sept. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ Robby Love was a roller skating rink owner who skated across America to promote his music CD and to raise money and awareness for Saint Jude Childrens Cancer Resarch Center. He skated to eight different children hospitals along the way and spent time cheering up children in the Long Term Care Units. Six years after Robby Love roller skated across America along route 66, The Roller Rapper graphic novel Is complete. The novel was inspired by Robby's realization of the root causes of the evils that plague humanity.

Robby says "As much as he tried to give, it could never compare to what he gained after meeting all those special children. Some of the kids he encountered had lived thier entire life's in hospitals enduring the worst pain and suffering. He says "the most rewarding thing was seeing a child smile. He said one time a parent told him it was six months since they seen thier child smile".

Robby also performed his music at roller skating rinks where he filmed a music video for his song Skatin 66', a modern remake of a mixl of KC & The Sunshine Bands past hits. The tour inspired a film called Skatin 66'. Skatin 66 is a feature documentary that is a collage of stories told by the fascinating people Robby meets along the way. Their stories of giving back to society and thier ideas of unconditional love transforms his journey from one that started as a cross country skating trip, to one that invokes thoughts and ideas of how to make the world a kinder place. The arc of the story takes Robby Robby off as an over the top roller skating singer who experiences humbles him and transforms him into a much better person. Robby says "that after this trip, his whole perspective on whats important in life and who he is has entirely changed.

The graphic novel was illustrated by Shiek, an artist Robby met by chance in Myrlte Beach, South Carolina. The illustartions are all original colored pencil drawings . According to Delores Quade, a graphic Novel promoter , "when I seen these illustrations, i knew this book was something special" . Delores was so impressed by the illustrations she volunteered her services to the project.

The Roller Rapper Graphic Novel is being offered on Kickstarter. There are many different products available of Kickstarter from stickers, to special edition books to purchasing the actual original artwork. options on Kickstarter. Robby says "the long range goal of the kickstarter campaign is to generate enough intetest to raise funds to skate across the country again and to make a major motion picture based on the graphic novel "Roller Rapper". Delores says "she is confident that collectors will purchase the cover and prints of the artworks becuase they are spectulating this book is going to make it big and the original artwork may have a great value someday".
