Richard Seib's "The Smallest Angel" (published by Archway Publishing) follows the life of Nishka, an experimental woman, and how she learns what it is like to be human, thanks to the friendship and love of a little girl who believes in angels.

This is a story within a story. A journalist hoping to get home for Christmas from a war zone reads a manuscript telling the tale of an experimental Soviet saboteur escaping a research facility during the fall of the Soviet Union and making her way to America. She eventually moves next to a widowed father and his two children. There she finds the power of love that changes her life.

This heartwarming story shows readers that anything is possible with faith and love. By examining the qualities that makes people uniquely human - the ability to love and care for others - this book is able to provide not just entertainment but a journey filled with life lessons and insights.

"Most people want to read something that in the end is not only interesting but also leaves a feeling of warmth, especially in a way most would not expect," Seib on why he writes this book. He also wants readers to have "a sense that when finished they have gotten more out of it than just a well-intentioned story."
