Ric Davidge has completed his new book "The Second American Revolution - first 100 days": a convincing and precise collection of specific answers to address the many challenges facing those who will oppose the current political system.

Ric asks readers, "Did you ever think that if you accept and follow all the rules and don't think for yourself you can't think or create what is not yet imagined in solving a problem that has not been solved for decades?"

It wasn't until he read 'It's not the big that eat the small, it's the fast that beat the slow' by Jennings and Haughton, in which there is a characterization of private vs. public managers, that he finally realized he didn't fit, even though he'd acquired the MPA and really tried for two decades plus. In Ric's words, his problem has always been that he has been "more focused on the mission than on kissing butt or pleasing a boss." This passion carried into his work with the Reagan Team as part of the Cabinet. He loved the work he did there, where he felt that the administration understood that they needed to hire competent people, give them a mission, and then let them achieve them. He also worked for Senator Ted Stevens, an extraordinary man and statesman. Ric always liked taking on the jobs others didn't want; trying to lead interdisciplinary task forces - again to accomplish a specific mission within time and budget.

Ric believes that "the function and purpose of 'The Second American Revolution' is really to push the argument we must again have about limited government. It is essential and so genuinely a fear of our Founders that we almost didn't become a nation, a republic of states - it was really very close. It's time the States stood up and re-formed an even more perfect nation."

He continues, "It became clear at the RNC Platform Committee in 2012 that we needed something new, a very specific plan - an informed strategy, not just more speeches, not just more of the same general rhetoric we have all heard for decades. You have to do the hard work, and that doesn't come from behind a podium."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Ric Davidge, MPA's exciting manuscript offers solutions to the problems in American politics while also providing some keen insights into the D.C. culture with information few Americans know.

Davidge concludes, "Reestablishing the balance of power between the States who conceived, articulated, and fought for the Republic - almost stopping its formation more than once due to concerns with federal power - is not easy given the structural corruption deeply imbedded in Congress and the Washington, D.C. culture, but it can and must be done. Mark Levin has identified the "clarifications" necessary in our Constitution that must be implemented via a Convention of States, but that will not fix the problem within - at least not in time. There are preconditions to this Revolution that are essential, achievable, and identified in this book. Many can begin now, well before the 2016 election, but they must begin and we must have the commitment from enough States (34) to get these stepping stones set so that a new authentic constitutionally conservative President and a 'friendly' Congress can achieve them in just five years. The reforms outlined in this book will achieve the rebalance and again form an even more perfect union with States in control and the federal system again limited as prescribed in the Constitution. This is an historic time, a new political time and space that will determine if America, as constructed by the States, will again prevail."
