R.M. Klein, a costume designer with a penchant for the theatrical, has completed her new book "The Endless Summer": a delectable family drama set in the 1960's west coast culture often fantasized about by devoted fans of the Beach Boys.

Klein's fascination with the music of the Beach Boys began in her childhood. After a life full of twists and turns, she found her connection to that music never faded. Rather, it became a stronger and more important part of who she was. In "The Endless Summer," Klein endeavors to write a book that personifies the themes and undertones of what could be called the soundtrack to her life. "The answers were all in the music. I could hear them, so I started writing the back stories of the folks I believe would most exemplify the Beach Boys music in the best light possible."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, R.M. Klein's dynamic tale accompanies the Kelly family on a summer-long surfing extravaganza down the west coast then culminating in Hawaii for an unprecedented competition accompanied by an important - and dangerous - automobile race.

Dan - the owner of several local Cadillac lots - and Moreen Kelly are the proud parents of five outstanding children. Danny, Randy, and twins Garry and Cindy are theirs biologically and they raised their cousin's child Deacon Dean as though he was their own right along with them. This California-based family has its share of broken hearts, love triangles, and hurt feelings, but at the end of the day they all recognize the irreplaceable quality of their immense bond.

The storyline is packed tight with drama, action, and love while it easily reads like a Beach Boys album itself - resonating with emotion, fun, and a desire for the carefree surfer life.

Readers who wish to experience this mesmerizing work can purchase "The Endless Summer" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
