"Life Through the Mirror: Experience", the new book of poetry by Philomena Ngwodo Uwaifo tells the personal story of her struggles against many odds in order to find her strength and self-confidence.

By writing different stories in poetic language portraying every aspect of human life, Uwaifo gives a voice to millions of people in the world who feel voiceless, ignored, rejected or abandoned by the people that are supposed to listen and love them.

"I strive to touch the lives of those like me; rejected, abounded, abused but not forgotten," said Uwaifo. "Because they were able to rise from the ashes despite everything bad in which they endured."

"Life Through the Mirror: Experience" takes the reader through the mind of the author in relation to life's many troubles and through the mirror of life, weaving a story of struggle, triumph, courage and victory many of us face.
