Author and poet petal knee has recently released her second book of poems titled, "Soulful Beings" (published by Xlibris UK). This new poetic anthology from the author of "Weathering the Storm" celebrates the connection that people have with one another in experience, emotions and as beings with soul.

The author believes that poetry offers some form of catharsis from life's difficult moments. In this new book, she not only expresses herself, she also invites readers to share in her experience and to find that connection that binds humanity together.

"This little gem of poetry will make your eyes sparkle like diamonds with tears of heartbreak, laughter, and joy," knee says, "The poems are narrative tales in rhyme and make for easy reading and understanding."

"Soulful Beings" is a journey across the colorful breadth and diversity of human experience. It will take readers through the ups and downs of life as it reveals a powerful message: that all living beings are the same because they share a soul.
