Author Raymond G. Chow pays tribute to the many children around the world who have suffered the same abuses he did in his new collection of poetry, "Poetic Memoir" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Raymond Chow's collection includes 129 original poems, innumerable prose poems and a brief history of his Chinese family, who immigrated to Hawaii.

A chapter devoted entirely to the exhumation of Saint Marianne Cope is contributed by Franciscan Sister Theresa Chow. Theresa was delegated by the Catholic Diocese as an observer in the exhumation.

Chow's brother, John Chow, contributed the final chapter in the book, detailing his adventurous life. John ran away from a boy's orphanage at age 15. During World War II, at age 16, he joined the U.S. Merchant Marine. During the Korean War, he was drafted into the U.S. Army. Later, he earned a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering after being discharged from the U.S. Army.
