HALIFAX, Nova Scotia

Nine years ago, Nancy Dupuis - who writes under the pen name The Writer in Me - lost her husband to an unexpected illness. While the illness cost her husband his life, it also forever changed hers.

Dupuis invites readers to experience her new memoir, "Begin Again" (published by Trafford Publishing), in which she shares her intimate and trying journey from a life lost, to a purpose found.

"Begin Again" spans 10 years, beginning with the diagnosis of Dupuis' husband. Where she once had a life she describes as "merrily rolling along," she was now faced with the harsh reality: her husband had seven weeks to live.

"Death is not only for the elderly" Dupuis says.

Throughout "Begin Again," readers see Dupuis go through many of life's stages, from grieving to living again. She hopes that readers will realize, just as she did, that there is more to life than just existing; life means far less when one neglects happiness and well-being.
